Standing alone

This is her new exciting "trick". She is so proud of herself. She is not able to get herself up to this point (though she tries so hard), but she can hold herself up and play for a while. It will not be long before she gets up herself.

Officially craawling

This skill has not been mastered yet, but she can definitely get where she wants to go.

Really moving in the walker

She is a real mover in the walker now. Carpet gives her more trouble, but on hard floor...she's gone!

Excited about the walker

When Eliza Claire gets excited she pants....Sometimes I really wonder if she is around dogs too much!

Crab Walk

She has done some scooting, not an actual crawl........but, now she is trying to walk on all 4's.

This is my toy

Oliver protecting Eliza Claire from the roomba.

Oliver does not like the robot vacuum. If Eliza Claire is playing on the floor , he will stand guard over her. He is very protective of her. If it gets to close he will jump up and bark at it...in attempt to scare it away from the baby.

Fun around the house

Olaying on the couch with Dadddy.

Helping Moma fold clothes on the bed....or rather knock them over.

Playing on the floor in the Jungle.

Her very own swing

I realize that she looks pretty unhappy....but, she really does like being outdoors. It was pretty cold that day. It's a good thing Daddy bought her a insulated onezie!

some things make noise!

Eliza Claire recently found out that banging different things down makes different noises than just a hand.

Look at me!

Her little legs are getting stronger, and she can stand when holding on to something. She knows when she does something exciting.... you can see how proud she is of herself! (and a little confused)

I think I can....

She gets closer each time...

this is a laugh...not a scream

Eliza Claire has still not been able to crawl, no matter how hard she tries. She is getting so close, and bless her heart....she will not give up!

ALMOST HAD IT!

Playing the imagionary drums

Old but goodys!

I took these to see how much she has grown since we first put her in it. This was the first real toy she played in, and still loves it! (thanks Uncle John, and Aunt Amy!)

Uh ...What ??

This is what happens when you think you can wait until you walk around to the other side of the car, get in the back seat with the baby to actually buckle her in the car seat!

Broccoli...Yuck!

One of my books suggested steamed broccoli as a good finger food.....needless to say , it was not a hit!

The baby house

Eliza Claire likes to play with all the parts of her new little house. She is trying to get through to the other side. Maybe one day soon, for now, we just have to flip it around!

Happy New Yer!

Trey, Eliza Claire, and I brought in the new year with the neighborhood gang at our friend Jackie's house. Eliza Claire had to take a nap during the festivities, but woke up to see the pretty fireworks. She also got pretty upset seeing "bottles" that were not for her!

Eliza Claire's new friend.

Eliza Claire and I went to visit my friends, and their daughter McKenzie. She is about 4 months older than Eliza, and moving all over the place. Eliza Watched her crawl around and took some notes!

Oliver gives Eliza Claire crawling support

Eliza Claire has been trying to crawl. Oliver stands by, encouraging her the entire time.
