Road trip to South Carolina

We planned this trip on Tuesday July 14 and left on Wednesday July 15. So, we just took it easy and made a vacation out of it.


Our first rest stop. Somewhere in Alabama....


Eliza Claire realized what the screen in the ceiling was for. She watched Marry Poppins along the ride. She loved the dancing parts!



The first night we stopped in Stone Mt. Georgia to see the Laser Light Show. This was the view from our hotel room.


EClaire had a great time in the room. She pulled off the AC knob and was very proud of herself!


Then she climbed on the AC unit. She was fascinated by this.....

The next morning Grammy let her eat breakfast in bed....what a mess she made!

Stopped at Cracker Barrel for lunch on the way to Aiken, SC

As soon as we got in our room in Aiken.....Eliza tried the same old things, and they were just as fun.

We all went to a yummy BBQ buffet for dinner one night.

She had a lot of fun with her cousin Trey...

Then, on to Myrtle Beech, SC

She's ready to go....

The waves got pretty strong, so we headed back to the pools.

She loved watching the helicopters, as soon as she heard one, she would start looking.

Drinking ice water from a cup like Grammy uses. This made her very happy

(remember ...I look like this because I am 20 weeks pregnant, give me some slack!)

Off to Lake City, SC

Miss Beth took us on a tour of where she lives...

Some got a little too excited, but she just got up and laughed!
