Still trying to roll.

Eliza Claire has successfully rolled from belly to back once, but I think it was a fluke. She has been trying really hard to do it again.

All around the crib

We let her sleep on her tummy for daytime naps, but she scoots all around the crib to get comfortable. She is definitely a mover!

Passing the time

This was how Eliza Claire and Grandma ma passed the time during Gustav. Once the power went out, Miss Eliza had to change into cooler clothes.

Eliza Claire is getting better at grabbing things and putting them in her mouth.

The new high chair

She refuses to sit in this chair properly (like a lady!). At first she would prop one foot on the tray with a bent leg and the other straight down(correctly). Now she just puts them both up!

So Sleepy

Trey and I were so involved in the Gustav tracking on TV, we didn't notice she had conked out next to us!

It was pretty hard getting them to stay still. This is not very good of me, but great of Eliza Claire. She is looking straight at the camera.

Yumm

This is the first thing I have seen her put in her mouth besides her hands. She grabbed it and did this all by herself.

Baptism

These pictures are not in order. The one where she is sleeping on Michael was after her party
, she was exhausted! It was a very nice ceremony and she was so good.

There is more to it but this is the interesting part...especially when Fr. Paddy introduces her!

I got this and thought it was a gamble...but she loves it! It has really helped her strengthen muscles and hold her head up better.

Eliza Claire is smiling all of the time now, but I just cannot seem to get a shot of it. This is the best I could do. I am continuing to try to get a really pretty one caught on film.

Something is out there!

I thought there was something really interesting going on outside....then I saw the lizard on the window sill! It was pretty cute though.

Almost got it

This was actually last week. She is even closer to rolling over now.

Going for a walk

This was Eliza Claire's first walk outside. We went all around the neighborhood and made lots of new friends!

Going to Church

In the car seat going to church for the very first time. Se was so good! The only time her eyes opened was when they rang the bell at communion and when the children's choir sang. (I use the term sang loosely...they were really yelling over each other)

Lunch at the Beau Rivage

Eliza Clair had a great time looking at all the decorations, and watching all of the excitement. She also got to spend some time with Uncle Michael and Aunt Nesa.
